The course also introduces various commercial AI products and services available for RAS farms.
About the Instructor: Rakesh Ranjan is a research scientist at Freshwater Institute, leading the precision aquaculture research. His research focuses on integrating advanced sensing technologies, machine learning algorithms and big data analytics to optimize the productivity and sustainability of intensive land-based aquaculture systems. Rakesh holds a Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University, a Master of Technology from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Kharagpur) and a Bachelor of Technology from the College of Technology in Pantnagar, India, both in Agricultural and Food Engineering.
