Astec’s ReMix™ Cold Central Plant Recycling (CCPR) System tackles the need for sustainable road construction. It efficiently utilizes reclaimed asphalt (RAP) stockpiles to produce CCPR material.

What is CCPR?
CCPR, or Cold Central Plant Recycling, is a process that turns RAP into a new usable asphalt mix called CCPR material. Unlike traditional methods, CCPR doesn't require high heat as it mixes at ambient temperatures. This recycled asphalt mix is over 96% reclaimed material, significantly reducing waste and reliance on virgin materials. It's a sustainable solution for road construction that's also cost-effective, especially for those with stockpiled RAP.

How is the CCPR material used?
CCPR material is a hybrid black base. It is used as a base or binder course in a pavement structure.

What makes the Astec ReMix CCPR system stand out?
ReMix CCPR offers a powerful blend of capacity and flexibility. It reliably produces CCPR material at 300 tons per hour (272 MTPH) and boasts a modular design for reduced costs and easy configuration. Astec's proven technology ensures reliable performance, with easy maintenance access for minimal downtime.
