September’s Canadian Rental Mart/Turf & Rec Show in Calgary will feature a roundtable discussion – moderated and presented by a panel of women – that will delve into employment opportunities for women in the turf and grounds maintenance industry. Led by Morgan Creighton, an Alberta woman who founded a mentorship program to help women ease their way into this male-dominated industry, the roundtable will address the challenges women face, the opportunities that await them and how they are contributing favourably to the industry. The session will be held on Sept. 11 at 2 p.m.
