The Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation and the Western Canada Turfgrass Association will be presenting an education session called Advances in Turf Research on Sept. 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. during the Canadian Rental Mart and Turf & Rec Show at the Calgary Stampede Grounds in Calgary. Presented by turfgrass science specialist Jason Pick of Olds College, the session will explore breakthroughs in turfgrass science, including such topics as optimizing fertility, effective herbicide uses, water conservation strategies, best turf species selections, and advanced diagnostic techniques for turf disease identification.
