Valuable continuing education units can be obtained by those attending Turf & Rec’s Arborist Summit on Sept. 25. Presented in partnership with the Ontario chapter of the International Society of Arborists, this online event will be delivered Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT, featuring three dynamic speakers.

Steve Mann, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and consulting partner with DCS Agronomic Services, will speak about “Job site and arborist safety.”

Madison Sturba, Terrestrial Invasives Team Lead at the Invasive Species Centre, will talk about “Identifying risks posed to trees.”

Jeff Babich, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and the Senior Superintendent for the City of Calgary’s seven golf courses, will address “Proper pruning techniques.”

The cost of registration is $25 which allows access to all three sessions with follow-up Q&A.
