The 2025 Top Crop Summit, happening February 25-26 in Saskatoon, is less than a month away. This two-day event features an exciting group of researchers and industry experts sharing their expertise on pests, disease, weeds and more. It’s also been approved for a total of six CCA-CEUs in the categories of nutrient management, soil & water management, integrated pest management and crop management. Plus, it qualifies for CCSC-CEUs.

A digital revolution is happening in agriculture. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can turn data into actionable insights, enabling faster and data-driven decisions. This session will explore the challenges and opportunities for AI in Canadian crop production systems. With a focus on AI tools that are commercially available and future opportunities for AI in agriculture, we will demystify and highlight its role in the broader context of agriculture.

Session: Cover crops for the Prairies

Early adopters have started growing cover crops on the Canadian Prairies to advance their soil health goals. Results from on-farm and small plot research with cover crops will highlight how cover crops are being used and adapted for Prairie rotations and growing conditions. In this session, ideas and resources to support new and experienced growers will be shared.
