Speakers
After working for a grain management company for five years, Jian returned to academia to pursue research in post-harvest grain quality, grain physical properties and more.
Prior to being an agronomy specialist for Canola Council of Canada, Senko worked in canola research and development.
Dr. Jayas is president and vice chancellor of the University of Lethbridge. He is a former Tier I (senior) Canada research chair in stored-grain ecosystems and conducts research related to drying, handling and storing of cereal grains, pulses and oilseeds.
Dena has been with PAMI as a project lead, managing their research and extension portfolio, since August 2023. She holds undergraduate degrees in agriculture and agricultural and bioresource engineering, and graduate degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
