Genesis Fertilizers is pleased to announce a major milestone with the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Gunvor USA LLC, one of the world’s largest commodities trading houses. This agreement outlines collaboration in three critical areas: securing natural gas supply for our Belle Plaine facility, purchasing 100% of our Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) production, and monetizing carbon credits generated from our integrated carbon capture system. This partnership validates our business model, de-risks key inputs and outputs, and provides diversified revenue streams. It’s a decisive step forward as we move toward Final Investment Decision and deliver on our vision of building one of North America’s most modern, low-carbon fertilizer facilities.
