A message from the editor

Hi there,

My name is Kaitlin Berger. I’m the editor of Top Crop Manager magazine for Western Canada. I wanted to reach out to you as a valued subscriber of our magazine to let you know about an exciting new event in the Peace Region of Alberta.

As you may know, Top Crop Manager has hosted the Top Crop Summit in Saskatoon for over a decade. This year, we decided to add a second summit in Grande Prairie.

Coming to the Holiday Inn & Suites in Grande Prairie on November 20, 2025, the first-ever Alberta Top Crop Summit will bring together growers, agronomists, researchers and industry experts. The one-day event will include back-to-back sessions where you’ll hear from Neil Blue on what’s happening in crop markets. Jason Casselman will speak to operational strategies for enhancing canola production. You’ll also hear Dr. Miles Dyck discuss the effects of moisture on soil nitrogen dynamics – and much more.

This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. We genuinely value your participation in the success of this summit in the Peace Country. We look forward to welcoming you in November.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Kaitlin Berger
Editor, Top Crop Manager West
