Managing herbicide-resistant weeds is one of the most critical challenges facing Western Canadian growers today. That’s why Gowan Company is introducing a new pre-emergent herbicide solution designed to strengthen your weed control strategy from the start.
New for Spring 2026, Garrison Liquid EC delivers proven, dual-action control in a convenient liquid formulation for select broadleaf crops. Formulated with Triallate + Trifluralin (Group 3 + 15), Garrison is a powerful resistance management tool that helps control Group 1 & 2 resistant wild oats and glyphosate-resistant downy brome, while also providing pre-emergent control of key weeds such as foxtail species, barnyard grass, lamb’s-quarters, wild buckwheat, chickweed, and suppression of kochia.
Garrison Liquid EC offers 4–6 weeks of residual control during the critical weed-free period, helping crops get off to a strong, competitive start. With flexible fall or spring application timing and tank-mix compatibility with pre-seed burnoff glyphosate, it fits seamlessly into Western Canadian cropping systems.
Registered in canola, dry peas, mustard, lentils, and flax (*fall application only)**.
Available in 10 L jugs and 115 L drums.
