Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) provides top-tier training programs for both professional and private pilots. As one of Canada’s largest and most experienced flight training centres, we offer extensive facilities, including 35+ aircraft, 5 advanced simulators, a tower-controlled airport, and more. Nearly 20% of all commercial pilot licenses in Canada are earned by WWFC graduates at YKF.
- Pilot Training: We offer flexible programs, including partnerships with the University of Waterloo, an Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence Program, and modular options. Students gain experience in terminal airspace checks and can enjoy flying tours of the CN Tower. Operating in Class C airspace, ATC clearance is required for all flight operations.
- Aviation Sim Centre and Innovation Hub: Our new facility features three advanced airliner simulators, including models for the Boeing 737, De Havilland Q-400, and Airbus A320. These are used in our MCC program and are available for airlines.
- Transport Canada Testing Centre: As an official TC exam site, WWFC offers PPL, CPL, and other exams with extended hours and no date restrictions. Free parking available.
- Drone Training: RPAS courses for hobbyists, professionals, and researchers, all in compliance with Transport Canada regulations.
- Fleet: Our fleet includes over 35 aircraft such as Cessna 152/172, Piper Seminole, Piper Arrow, DA40, and two electric planes. We also have five simulators that support to all training levels.
